Erika Steele Jacobs passion is to create unforgettable weddings, amazing parties, and extraordinary events.
Erika Steele Jacobs is the owner and lead planner for Steele Celebrating.
She is the heart and soul of the business and has always dreamed of owning her own venue. As a young girl, Erika expressed her desire to be a wedding planner. While her mother valued dreams, she emphasized the importance of having an education. Thanks to the support of her parents, Bruce and Renee Steele, Erika earned a Master's Degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks!
In 2019, Erika met her husband, Rusty, and over the past six years, they have blended their families, careers, and dreams. They have four children: Lily, Julia, Hayden, and Henley. Rusty played a key role in making Erika's dreams come true by helping to purchase their first venue, Steele Celebrating at the Yorkville Enquirer.
With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Erika worked with Aramark at Wingate University for ten years. She then spent five years in early education and currently works as an Intake Specialist in senior living. People are her passion, and she loves throwing a great party. Erika looks forward to sharing her expertise in special events to help create your next wonderful occasion!
